Dog Training in Tucson, Arizona

Hi, I’m Katie

I’m the trainer behind Furever Bonded Dog Training in Tucson, Arizona.

Dogs have always been part of my life. I grew up with both parents working in the veterinary field, which meant I was around dogs of all breeds, personalities, and challenges from a young age. That experience shaped how I work today and taught me the importance of empathy, clarity, and understanding each dog as an individual.

Working with dogs is more than a career for me. It’s how I spend most of my time, whether I’m training, exploring outside, or simply enjoying quiet moments together.

My Training Philosophy

I believe the relationship comes first.

A woman with brown hair and a black top, wearing gray pants and white sneakers, teaching a black and white Border Collie dog to sit in a park with large trees and parked cars in the background.

Training is not just about teaching behaviors. It’s about helping dogs and owners communicate clearly and understand each other better. When expectations make sense, dogs feel more confident and owners feel more capable.

I start every training plan by looking at the dog and owner as a team. From there, we build structure, engagement, and motivation in a way that fits real life. No rigid programs. No one-size-fits-all approach.

What It’s Like to Train With Me

Training should feel supportive, not overwhelming.

I work with dog owners in Tucson who want a calmer home, better communication, and training that actually carries over into everyday life. Sessions are clear, engaging, and broken down into manageable steps so progress feels achievable.

The goal is long-term success, not quick fixes.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not training dogs, you’ll usually find me outside hiking, exploring Arizona with my dogs, or slowing down with yoga and mindfulness. I’m a certified yoga instructor, and that calm, intentional approach carries into my training style as well.

I value balance, growth, and continuous learning, both for myself and the teams I work with.

Why Furever Bonded

Furever Bonded is about strengthening that connection through clear communication, fair training, and mutual trust. When the relationship is strong, everything else becomes easier.

Two dogs sitting together against a brick wall, one Australian Shepherd with blue eyes and a black and white coat, the other an Australian Shepherd mix with blue eyes and a merle coat.

The bond between a dog and their owner is powerful.
